POROS PERLAWANAN – Dikutip Fars dari kanal Israel, i24, sumber-sumber politik mengabarkan bahwa Putra Mahkota Abu Dhabi, Muhammad bin Zayed masih terus memohon kepada PM Israel Benyamin Netanyahu, agar Tel Aviv mengirim delegasi keamanannya untuk berpartisipasi dalam sebuah pameran militer di UEA.
Sebelum ini, harian Zionis, Calcalist melaporkan bahwa Israel akan membuka stand khusus di pameran persenjataan IDEX di Abu Dhabi. Namun kantor berita Reuters baru-baru ini memberitakan bahwa Tel Aviv telah membatalkan partisipasinya di pameran tersebut.
Situs Palestine Today mengutip dari Kanal 7 Israel bahwa UEA mendesak Netanyahu untuk ikut campur tangan dalam masalah ini. Dengan adanya tekanan dari Netanyahu, diharapkan agar delegasi Israel diberi izin untuk hadir di pameran.
Pameran IDEX diadakan tiap dua tahun sekali. Rencananya IDEX tahun ini akan dilangsungkan pada 21-25 Februari dan diikuti oleh 100 negara.
Terkait pembatalan kehadirannya di pameran, pihak Israel mengklaim bahwa penutupan bandara dan pembatasan akibat Corona telah memaksa mereka mengambil keputusan tersebut.
Sebelum ini, kunjungan Netanyahu ke UEA dan Bahrain pun dibatalkan dan ditunda dengan dalih serupa. Rencana kunjungan ini bahkan sudah ditunda beberapa kali sebelumnya.
Harian Israel, Globes pada Kamis kemarin melaporkan, delegasi Tel Aviv yang terdiri dari 270 orang dan 50 korporasi militer akan berangkat ke UEA.
Menurut sumber-sumber Globes, perbincangan di level tinggi tengah dilakukan agar delegasi Israel bisa menghadiri pameran. Namun meski hari H tinggal dua hari lagi, para pejabat Rezim Zionis masih belum memberikan komentar terkait masalah ini.
Seperti diketahui, Rezim Zionis pada pertengahan September tahun lalu telah menjalin kesepakatan normalisasi hubungan dengan UEA, yang dimediasi oleh mantan Presiden AS, Donald Trump.
