POROS PERLAWANAN – Dubes Rusia untuk Israel, Anatoly Viktorov menepis tuduhan-tuduhan Rezim Zionis terhadap Iran. Ia berpendapat, keluarnya AS dari kesepakatan nuklir (JCPOA) telah memicu munculnya banyak problem saat ini.
Dinukil Fars dari Jerusalem Post, Viktorov pada hari Selasa 8 Desember kemarin menyatakan, ”Aktivitas-aktitivitas Iran bukan pangkal masalah di Timur Tengah. Persoalannya adalah tiadanya kesepahaman antara negara-negara di Kawasan. Persoalan lainnya adalah tidak adanya komitmen terhadap resolusi-resolusi PBB terkait konflik Palestina vs Israel, juga perseteruan antara Arab dan Israel.”
Menanggapi serangan-serangan udara Rezim Zionis ke Suriah, Dubes Rusia ini menegaskan bahwa Israel tidak seharusnya melakukan agresi ke wilayah negara anggota PBB.
Viktorov juga membantah klaim Israel bahwa Iran telah melanggar butir-butir kesepakatan di JCPOA. Diplomat Rusia tersebut menegaskan, dirinya tidak meyakini klaim tersebut.
“Justru AS yang pertama kali mengambil langkah dan keluar dari JCPOA. Hal ini yang menyebabkan Iran juga mengambil sejumlah tindakan,” tandasnya.
Terkait pemberitaan media-media AS bahwa Presiden terpilih, Joe Biden, akan kembali ke JCPOA, Viktorov mengatakan bahwa persoalan akan menjadi lebih mudah jika Washington kembali ke perjanjian tersebut.
Menurutnya, kembalinya AS ke JCPOA akan mengurangi kekhawatiran. Di pihak lain, Iran juga akan mendapat peluang untuk mengembangkan program nuklir damainya.
“Mungkin ada sebagian konten (JCPOA) yang akan diperbaiki. Namun hal ini bergantung kepada perundingan dengan pihak-pihak terkait dan pejabat Iran,” kata Viktorov, menanggapi statemen Biden untuk “memperkuat” JCPOA.
Saat ditanya apakah Moskow akan menjual senjata kepada Teheran, ia menjawab, ”Iran adalah negara dengan kedaulatan mandiri. Kenapa tidak? Saya tidak punya informasi terkait masalah ini. Hal ini butuh dirundingkan.”
Di akhir wawancara, Viktorov menegaskan bahwa isu Palestina tidak boleh dikesampingkan. Normalisasi hubungan Tel Aviv dengan sejumlah negara juga jangan sampai mengalihkan isu penyelesaian konflik Palestina-Israel.
